Excellent depth of colour displaying a black as night core and a dark purple hue. The nose offers up liquorice all sorts, dark plum and black raspberry aromatics followed by subtle scorched earth and pepper notes. Rich liquorice and black raspberry fruits dominate the fleshy palate and show excellent intensity. Dark plum, subtle scorched earth and spicy pepper elements are also evident. Finishes with good freshness, polished tannins and a long delicious aftertaste.
